Hi, I'm Brannon, a dynamic leader in the relationship recovery community.
I have a passion for repairing broken relationships. I have developed several programs for addiction recovery and betrayal.
In 2015 I started creating content online to reach more couples who are struggling. I'm extremely grateful that these resources have helped to heal thousands of couples from different parts of the world.
I am the co-clinical director and owner of TherapyUTAH. I have treated almost every kind of addiction in every setting.
I started working on an inpatient psychiatric unit and then spent years gaining experience in an intensive outpatient setting. Through my years of clinical work, I have received specialized training including as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist.
Apart from being a relationship and recovery coach, I'm also a writer, blogger, podcaster, and content creator. I'm known as The Expert on the The Betrayed The Addicted and The Expert podcast with couple, Ashlynn and Coby Mitchell.
Every week, we share our three different perspectives on topics dealing with relationships, recovery & addiction, guiding our listeners through change no matter their circumstance.
One of my favorite things to do is run healing retreats for men women and couples.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My greatest training has been in real life. I have been married to my beautiful wife for over 15 years now. Like any relationship we have had to work hard at it. Learning how to create safety, hold space, allow for our own individuality and working through conflict. My wife Jenny has been my greatest teacher. I believe my most important role is a Father and Husband. I know first hand the challenges of parenting and the work that it takes to have a healthy relationship. I work hard to be a successful father and husband.
The most important thing for me is my relationship with God. I know that success as a therapist, father, and husband comes through God. That connection is central to everything that I do.
